After short stints as Senior Resident in Medical Oncology at BL Kapoor Hospital and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, he joined Tata Memorial Hospital(Mumbai), where he pursued his Doctorate-DM in Medical Oncology(2014-17). After successful training at TMH(Mumbai), he served as Specialist Registrar(Medical oncology) in Tata Memorial Centre and its affiliated Centres(2017-18).
He was instrumental in establishing the first Medical Oncology department at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital(a unit of TMH) at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He is ESMO(European Society of Medical Oncology) Certified and was awarded ECMO by the same body in December 2018. After completing his service liabilities with TMH, he joined as a Consultant(Medical Oncology) and established the Institute of Oncology at Narayana Health-MMI Hospital in Raipur(Chhattisgarh). He has published and presented numerous research papers on national and international fora and has been invited as panellist/faculty at multiple academic conferences at the national levels.
